當我們嘗試鼓勵其他人，我們可以這樣說
· Cheer up 開心點
· You can do it 你可以做得到!
· Pull yourself together 振作起來 It’s not your fault 這不是你的錯
· Take it easy 別太緊張
· Let’s cheer up! 加油
· Don’t give up 不要放棄 You never know! 你永不 (never) 會知道的!
· I’ve got your back 有我在/ 我在你的背後 – 意思: “我在背後支持你”一樣
· Let’s look on the bright side 用樂觀的角度看看吧 !
· You can do anything if you believe只要相信什麼都可以做到
· There’s nothing to worry about 有什麼好擔心 Everything’s going to be all right! 一切都會冇事的! Don’t take it so seriously. 不要把一件事看得這麼嚴重!
投訴、發洩埋怨、抱怨
We have a complaint to make. 我們要申訴。 This is unacceptable 這是不能接受。
I’m here to complain about something just had happened 我就剛剛發生的事情要在這裏投訴。
Why is it taking so long to process?! 為什麼要這麼久處理 I want my money back ! 我要退錢。
That’s no excuse. 那不是藉口!
What a headache 實在太頭痛!
He is so narrow-minded 眼界狹窄/ childish 幼稚/ impossible 很難搞!
I can’t stand him any longer. 我不能再忍受他了。
其他常用詞彙 cancel 取消 / upset 不滿 / angry 憤怒 / irresponsible 不負責任 / responsible 負責任 / show up 露面 / appointment 約會 / file a complaint 提出申訴
