一般的查詢， 主要可分為以下範疇:
i) 人數、正價及小童或老人優惠; (Concession = 優惠、特價)
ii) 繁忙時段 (peak hour / rush hour) 或其他時段收費;
iii)索取時間表 (Timetable) 及詢問班次資訊;
iv) 其他智能優惠咭及使用方法;
v) 查詢轉乘或前往目的地的途徑.
在英國地下鐵路的朋友對話 - 在英國地下鐵路又叫作 Underground or Tube.
A: Hey! Our meeting starts at 2pm. Shall we take the Underground from Lancaster Gate to Notting Hill Gate, then the District Line to Edgware Road Station? 我們的會議 2:00pm 開始.我們先從Lancaster Gate 乘搭地鐵前往 Notting Hill Gate，然後再經 District 線到 Edgware Road 站好嗎?

從上述例子，我們可以發現語句表達 - 例如：由A點途經B點到達C點，我們可以直接說: “From A, then B to C” 或者由A點出發，途經 Z 線路前往C目的地 “ From A, we can take Z Line to C”
